Headshots
I've Taken over 400 professional headshots
Once a year we send a school wide announcement to all students looking to get their headshot taken for Resumes, Linkedin, Passports, you name it. I've ran the headshot station for this the last 3 years. I've also taken headshots for professors and students throughout the school year, as well as my own (pictured here).
Campus Visit Photoshoot
50+ Photoshoots taken/edited
Think of these like mini high school senior photoshoots. A student can request a photoshoot for their college visit. Upon the request, either myself or a co-worker will pose, photograph, and edit the shoot. This has taught me collaboration. Our department could have anywhere from 1-10 of these photoshoots per day, so working as a team to effectively cover and edit these in proper time is essential.
Boat Captain
Tours, tubing, and more
I've also served as boat captain during my time here at Grace. This responsibility included taking prospective students on tours of the Lake, taking alumni, community members, and current students tubing, and cleaning/refueling the boat.

I get to work with a creative team of professionals and aide in other creative shoots. Here is a "Champions of Character" photoshoot I acted in. We woke up at 5am to set up before the sunrise. Despite the 20º temperature, I put on my running gear and helped my co-workers set up the lighting equipment.

When all the equipment was set up, we began the shoot. We had our videographer recording for a new commercial, as well as our head photographer taking these photos. I get to learn from professionals everyday and participate in shoots like this!

Here is one small clip from the shoot. Being apart of video shoots like these teach me a lot about how a professional videographer should conduct themselves, observing the handheld motions, and further expanding my technical skills in videography.
